Gold Discovery Run 2026

Please join the 60th running of the iconic Gold Discovery Run! This is a 16+ mile rewarding yet challenging race from Kinross' Fort Knox gold mine via trails and then Gold Mine Trail neighborhoods to the Silver Gulch Brewery in Fox. Participants are bussed from Silver Gulch Brewery in Fox to the start line at 7:15 am (early start) and 8:15 am (standard start).

There are two start times from the mine: 8 am for those needing 3 hours or more (early start) and  9 am (standard start). Awards will be given for the top three men and women finishers from the 9 am start. Refreshments will be available at the finish line. 

In order to comply with Running Club North’s insurance carrier's requirements, all participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian electronically sign the waivers. No dogs are allowed on the course during the race, please.
